Summary
Passover, also known as 'Pesach', is an 8 day Jewish
festival which celebrates the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and
how the Angel of Death passed over the Jewish houses so that only
Egyptian newborns were killed. It is celebrated with family gatherings
and lavish meals called 'Seders'.
