Long Vowel Sounds

A long vowel sound is a sound which is the same as, or very similar to the letter name of one of the vowels. This page contains worksheets, flashcards, online activities and other educational resources to help with long vowels. Long vowels form part of the National Literacy Strategy word level objectives for Year 1 and Year 2.
